Agnes Cecile (Silvia Pelissero), nacida en Roma (1992) es una pintora autodidacta que, desde niña, dibuja a diario, forjando su propio estilo a través de audaces experimentos con acuarela, acrílico, tinta y barniz. El uso de imágenes simples, junto con el color y el detalle abstracto, Agnes Cecile crea ricos retratos humanos emocionales. Su proceso creativo comienza plasmando las palabras y emociones que busca transmitir en notas, escritos o frases que después transforma en bocetos rápidos y sencillos con los cuales comienza el verdadero trabajo.
Cecile elige el boceto adecuado y en el añade líneas, trazos y colores nuevos. Después, lo lleva al lienzo y concreta su trabajo combinándolo con la inspiración del momento; arrebato que proviene de lo que ella llama “artes secundarias” en forma de gráficos digitales, vídeos y fotografías. En sus obras, Pelissero utiliza pigmentos muy líquidos para formar imágenes artísticas y significativas, cargadas de una gran expresividad emotiva.

Using simple images, along with color and abstract detail, Agnes Cecile creates rich, emotional portraits of people. Her creative process begins by jotting down the words and emotions she seeks to convey in notes, writings, or phrases, which she then transforms into quick, simple sketches that serve as the starting point for the real work.
Cécile chooses the right sketch and adds new lines, strokes, and colors. She then transfers it to the canvas and refines her work, combining it with the inspiration of the moment—a burst of inspiration that comes from what she calls "secondary arts" in the form of digital graphics, videos, and photographs. In her works, Pelissero uses highly fluid pigments to form artistic and meaningful images, charged with great emotional expressiveness.
